I’m Wesley Smits, and photography has been an interest of mine since I was little. I started out with a Nikon D40, which I took with me on vacations and to motor races. I enjoyed it a lot, but over time, another passion started to take over… sound.

I began making my own “remasters” of songs I thought I could improve, started playing keys (and later guitar), and got involved at my local youth center, where I began learning Front of House audio. So I thought—why not combine the two?

And that’s how AMPED Pictures was born. Focusing primarily on concert photography, I gradually expanded my gear and started experimenting, all to make sure I can capture the perfect shot for you.
